This year ME Art Gallery Amsterdam proudly presents a SOLO exhibition of Sena Tues a young artist from Accra, Ghana.

Kwabena, Sena Alexander Bampoe was born in 1986 in the Volta region of Ghana.  After high school he entered Ghanatta College of Art and Design and graduated. He was born in one of Accra’s toughest neighborhoods. Art has been a shelter and an escape. He is amongst the few artists who embrace Modern Contemporary Art. He paints in a diversity classic style, his own reality, beyond melodies, beyond words. He uses facial expressions where he believes that emotions are best portrayed. He believes it helps better to visualise ones experience and feelings; it is an exchange of information with or without narratives.

His paintings help to create an intriguing dialogue between the subject’s message and the viewer.
